How Do I Delete My Explorer
History?
Open Internet Explorer.
Click on Tools.
Click on Internet Options in the drop box.
You will now see all the basic options that Internet Explorer uses. In
the middle is a section named Temporary Internet Files. There is a
button there that will delete all temporary files. These files are saved
to make surfing the web faster. However, if left too long, they can
quickly overrun your system. Hitting this button will not delete things
like saved passwords on sites you've visited. In the bottom of this
window is a section named History. In this section is a button named
Clear History. Click this and it will remove all the sites from memory
that you have visited. There is also a small box with a number in it.
This box tells explorer how long to save these addresses in memory
before deleting them. The default is 20 but if you surf the net very
often there is really no need for this to be much higher than 5 or 6.
